A Truly Exceptional Dancer/Choreographer
Wendy is a former member of the Seacoast Ballet Company run by Colleen and Larry Robertson. She studied at the Robertson’s School of Classical Ballet for ten years until her interests shifted to musical theatre. Wendy has performed with several theatre companies including Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse, Palace Theatre, the Boston Center for the Arts and North Shore Music Theatre. Her favorite roles include Tiger Lily (Peter Pan), Anne (La Cage Aux Folles), Delee (Smokey Joe’s Café), and Shark/Jet Girl (West Side Story). After having performed in over 50 different musicals and plays, Wendy began working behind the scenes, doing the choreography for many productions. These include choreography for several theatre companies as well as Boston College High School, Fameless Fam, Brookline Academy of Dance and the Dance Factory of Plymouth.

Brea started her dance training at Suzanne Perdue's Dancers Edge in MA and has trained and assisted some of the top teachers and choreographers in the country including Mia Michaels, Stacey Tookey, John Crutchman, Dee Caspary and Doug Caldwell. Shas established a name for herself as a highly skilled dancer and choreographer, taking her own performances as well as her students to the next level. Brea has been has been recognized for her choreography receiving Top Choreographer Awards and has toured with regional ballet companies in MA, performed with choreographer, Dan Karaty (N‘Sync, So You Think You Can Dance) and in the off-Broadway show, “Break The Floor" at age 13 after receiving a full scholarship to their intensive. A semi-finalist on Season 2 of “So You Think You Can Dance," her unique choreography keeps Brea in demand throughout the country as well as teaching at workshops and intensives. In addition, Brea is on the star-studded staff of the Revel Convention and both teaches and adjudicates dance conventions/competitions throughout the country and brings an energy and passion to her class that is contagious, motivating and inspiring!

Favorite thing to do out of the studio: Travel (mainly to Disney!)
Big love for little dancers
Kelsey grew up dancing at New England Dance and Gymnastics Centers in Westfield MA, where she danced for 16 years, and competed for 14. As a competitive dancer, Kelsey has won numerous overall awards and national championships. Most recently, Kelsey danced on the dance team at Lasell College and was their choreographer and dance captain. Kelsey graduated from Lasell College with a BA and a MA education.

When I'm not at the studio you can find me: Teaching high school math, watching Netflix or hanging out with the fam!
KERRIN MICHAELS, OWNER/DIRECTOR
Inspiring kids to love dance.
Kerrin has been a dance educator since 2003 specializing in Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Musical Theater. Kerrin’s professional theater dance experience includes, ‘Follies’- The Lyric Stage Company, ‘Funny Girl’-Fiddlehead Theater, ‘Seussical’- Wheelock Family Theater. Kerrin played the principal roles of both “Carol” and “Sharron”, as well as Dance Captain, in the off-Broadway and National Tour of “Girls Night- The Musical” from 2009-2012. Her acting, voice, dancing and choreography have won numerous awards including; Miss Bay State 2007, EMACT-DASH award for her role as “Belle”, New England’s Best Female Vocalist 2010, USTD-Top Studio Award, StarQuest- Best Choreography, USTD-Best Choreography, StarPower- Choreography, as well as best scoring solos, duos and groups at regional and national competitions. Kerrin holds a BA from Westfield State University.

Favorite Artists: Dave Matthews Band, Linda Eder, Billy Joel, Elton John and of course, Celine Dion.
Favorite season: Fall (back to dance!)
When I'm not at the studio I like to: Hang out with Jeff (husband) and Oliver (son), go to the beach, shop, spin class, travel.
IVAYLO ALEXIEV, DIRECTOR-CLASSICAL BALLET SCHOOL
Passionate, Graceful and Flawless
Ivaylo Alexiev was born in Varna, Bulgaria. He started his ballet training with the Vaganova Method at the National Ballet School in Sofia. Mr. Alexiev than earned a scholarship from "UNESCO" to join the prestigious Academy of Ballet in Monte Carlo directed by Madame Marika Besobrasova where he graduated with a Diploma for a professional ballet dancer. From 2001-2004 Ivaylo was a member of Le Ballet de L'Opera National de Bordeaux, France where he danced for three seasons participating in every production and world tours with the company. In 2004 Mr. Alexiev moved to Germany and worked with several contemporary companies. For two seasons under the direction of James Sutherland, Ivaylo was a soloist with Pforzheim Ballett where he danced in several modern productions such as- Carmen, Pink Floyd, Swan Lake and others. Mr. Alexiev took part in many Dance Galas in Europe and has been invited as a guest artist in France, Germany, Russia, Malta, Japan, USA and others. His repertory includes ballets such as Raymonda, Divertimento #15, Symphony in D, The Prodigal Son, Suite en Blanc, Sleeping Beaty, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Cinderella and others. Ivaylo has worked with some of the biggest names in European ballet including Elisabeth Platel, Charles Jude, Irek Mukhamedov, Roland Vogel, Attilo Labis, Eva Evdokimova.
Ivaylo Alexiev speaks five languages and obtained a diploma in dance pedagogy and history of ballet from L'Academie de danse classique Princesse Grace de Monte Carlo. In 2010 Mr. Alexiev moved to US joining Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre as a principal dancer. In 2012 Ivaylo was invited to be a member of the faculty of Ballet Theatre of Boston. Part time faculty member at Boston Ballet School since 2014. North Atlantic Dance Theatre company coach since 2015. Ballet Master for Festival Ballet Providence since 2015. Ivaylo is an Adjunct member of the faculty at Dean College.
