The Greater Boston School of Classical Ballet is proud to offer a beginner through advanced curriculum lead by our Ballet Director Brittany Bush. Our classes focus on classical ballet technique which promotes good posture, musicality, core strength, flexibility, and healthy body alignment.
Ms. Brittany brings with her a wealth of experience from the ballet industry. She earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Purchase College Conservatory of Dance. She was a company dancer with the Jose Mateo Theater and has danced with several other top tier ballet companies. Ms. Brittany has taught ballet in the Boston area for over 7 years at Jose Mateo Theater, Brookline Ballet School, Tufts Academy and Phillips Academy. We are thrilled to have such an experienced and skilled dancer both as a teacher and as the new director of our classical ballet program.
Each dancer will be placed in a level that will both challenge and support their development. As students improve over time their placement will be adjusted to keep the classes balanced and the level of instruction consistent with the needs of the dancers. All students new to the program will be assessed for level placement by appointment. Once you have completed your placement class you will be offered a class day and time(s).
